Landscape design that really changes people's lives

Landscape design that really changes people's lives

Welcome to Groundwork

Groundwork Pennine Lancashire is the largest environmental charity in Lancashire.

We operate throughout Lancashire, working with our partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors to improve the quality of people's lives, their prospects and potential and the places where they live, work and play.

We have over 25 years experience of delivering bespoke projects in areas such as:

Health & Safety Consultancy          Youth Work

Alternative education                     Legislation update service

Countryside and heritage               Landscape design

Community consultation                 Climate change

Healthy Lifestyle                             Grounds maintenance

Environmental Consultancy            Worklessness

Business Resource efficiency

We work with our partners in a number of innovative ways, developing projects and solutions to fit their needs.  Our partners view us as extra members of their team – we can carry out services that require extra skills or experience or use man hours that they just don’t have.  We are seen as a neutral body by the communities and partners that we work with and can act as brokers between conflicting interests and opinions.

Most importantly, ours is a social business; there are no shareholders to distribute orofits to. Any profits we make are invested back into our local community.
